our[true]self

To wonder is human.  We wonder, "Who am I, really?"

A rationalist might describe us by the science of the day, but we are more than that... and we know not what.

Herein lies a key:  We possess the known and unknown, the rational and non-rational, objective and subjective, but cannot describe the whole within because some of it is beyond knowing, hence beyond telling.

Even if we approached the whole truth we cannot embrace it fully because when we arise each day we have changed in ways unknown.

That's okay.  No one else knows us; therefore, critics can be dismissed as misinformed, especially the most severe critic of all, ourselves.
